My Deltasig journey started like many of us, attending a pizza party for free food. Just kidding! I attended an info night as a way to get involved in my college campus.
Then, a pledge ceremony, several weeks of pledge classes and the culmination of initiation. This process has been unchanged for most of the Brothers for decades. The reason we entered the room to join varies and is our own personal story. Some of us join to build a network, others to obtain professional skill, and some of us were just hungry and walked into the room handing out pizza. My reason for joining was to find friends, what I never realized is I would find a lot more.
Every Brother is taught a fundamental lesson - those profit most who serve best. In other words if you want anything of value from your membership in Delta Sigma Pi you must first give of yourself. I have given much to the fraternity and have been lucky to get a wife, lifelong friends, travel buddies and so many great stories and experiences I can’t imagine.
Throughout the 24 years I have been in the fraternity, I have attended 10 Grand Chapter Congress’ and over 50 LEADs throughout the country in all five provinces. I have served on the Board of Directors for over 7 years, and even served as Chancellor during a Grand Chapter.
